Who We Are

Wayne City Baptist Church is a church family that holds the values:

Biblical preaching and teaching God's Word.

Worshipping God daily in everything we think, say and do.

Spiritual growth as an essential part of our daily Christian life.

Wayne City Baptist Church was organized May 1, 1901 with thirteen charter members. in the fall of 1901, a one room building was completed. The Church can look back on its history of ministry and be proud. But just as the one room church will no longer meet the needs of the church, we are desiring to continue to grow and impact our community with the love of Jesus Christ.

Wayne City Baptist Church built a new sanctuary in 1957 which continues to be used for weekly worship services. The Church has continually added additional spaces over the years to provide ministry to families and individuals.
